Your calm is just around
the corner
Hi, I'm Shannon. I work with women who struggle with anxiety, trauma symptoms, relationship issues, family challenges, and low self-esteem. I particularly enjoy working with women who consider themselves neurodivergent or highly sensitive people, along with queer women or women questioning their sexuality.

One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is witnessing the relief, insight, and growth my clients gain during the therapeutic process. While the path is unique to everyone, healing is possible.

In my practice, I've noticed my clients have different parts of themselves that need to be listened to in order to heal. These parts can sound a little like this:

One part says "I'm fine, I can handle this" while another part is dreading the next day.

One part says "I shouldn't be anxious about this" while another part is convinced something bad is about to happen.

One part says "My life is fine, I shouldn't be upset" while another part feels like something is off.

Sound familiar? This is SO common, and can be draining to manage alone. Your experience is important, and you deserve to feel heard, understood, and hopeful again. Both IFS therapy and EMDR are wonderful paths to feeling better. Let's figure out together which is right for you.
